Vanous solinoids

Are there any vanous solinoids available that are off a decent quality, apart from those from the main stealers,,..
Also id like to get a replacement boot roof switch,
It's getting .the one that senses the boot shelf being up or down...
Its occasionally problematic,..
Some times working, some times not..
I've found pushing metal strip it in and out gets it going again..

For which engine? The error code on my M54 was solved by removing the solenoid and flushing it through with carb cleaner, could be worth a go.
