Thanks Byron, been working at it for a little while now, was hoping to get the car completed before having to go back into the books. Sadly no chance for that now, as you know, anything you envisioned takes twice as long.

I went for the b6 xl solely for the fact the b5 is too narrow for me, (its narrower than even the mono seats I had) man I can't tell you how much of a relief it was when I actually sat in the seat for the first time and realized my butt and back fit in the seats.. I was very worried, very worried indeed.

And now I've run into another issue.. (Always something) bloody slider they sent me from mono, has 2 left rails.. WTF?

So now I have to source a slider locally as I don't have the time to return this one to mono, and wait on a replacement.. Freakingly annoying.

Cant wait for this part to be completed..

My missus is starting to wonder if I've sold the car, she hasn't seen it in our driveway for close to 3 months now.. :tumbleweed:

A few pics of the seats...

Ill take some pics tomorrow, pretty trashed, long flight from Jakarta.

Spanking 777ER, 35 hours on the clock when I took it from Jakarta to Dubai, still had that new car smell.

The seat install looks awesome Vanne!!

No-one picking up on the fact that Vanne has a fricking *awesome* job?!?!?! Flying big stuff must be great fun - I'd love to have a go! :driving: Are those cameras to keep an eye on the condition of the engines?

Is this a track car? What have you done to the engine? :)

Yup, mostly track car, thought still rego on the civil roads too. Cams/intake/pulleys/tune/cooling.

Cheers :D

Thx Mikey, the cameras are mostly used to impress the passengers, and are not used in dealing with a catastrophic failure of the engine initially ,though can be used to confirm any extra damage after the systems have been secured. :D

If your ever traveling on EK, let me know, I'll give you a tour once on the ground (crappy s**t since 9/11 we can't have visitors in the flight deck anymore during flight)

The seat install has gone great and has completely changed the feel of the whole car. It's like your one with the car now, I love it a lot.

Cheers. If your ever in Dubai, pints on me mate.

V.

Great news on the seats - those Tillets really are awesome!

And thanks for the cool pilot info - I'll certainly let you know if I'm Dubai way... :D
