Value of BMW service history after car is 4 years old

ive had my car serviced at simpson since day one..... its never been serviced @ a dealer...... ohh wait actually they a brake flush and it was an average job at mad costs!!!!

Independents all the way....

I use CPC Performance Engineering (http://cpcpe.com) an indy in Amersham Buckinghamshire for all servicing and other work on my ///MC and my 320d. My father, an engineer and a cynic, happily leaves his Z3 in their hands. Far better srvice than any main dealer I have experienced, and extremely reliable. Matter of fact, I'm on the train about to collect my ///M from there this afternoon

Substantially less than BMW. I forget how much my inspection two cost, but give them a call if you're local enough.

I haven't had the pleasure of paying for a service yet on the car although the previous owner couldn't speak highly enough of Wood BMW in Hampshire who have been servicing the car since he's had it:

Auto-technik in Lutterworth, Leics. £350 for the inspection 1 and £35 for the brake fluid change- will collect and deliver car for that price.

Sytner BMW Leicester- £801.25 for the inspection 1 and £56.40 for the brake fluid change. Loan car required at £25 for the day.

Independent is ~£500 cheaper.

Is my car going to be worth £500 less after one service because it no longer has a full BMW service history?

I suspect not.
