No. Not that kind of vag

15 plate golf gtd

Keeps going into limp mode, has low boost and poor mpg

Managed to capture the fault codes here- what are you seeing that doesn’t look right before I throw a load of cash at this and send it to a specialist

Cheers

Stuart

It’s got more sensors on the damn thing than the e3 sentries at Waddington!!
And who ever thought it was a good idea to put an oil filter housing upside down on the front of the engine needs a slap

I was more interested in whether that was a logical value or not tbh?

You havent indicated mileage or how the miles are covered but its very similar issues to a Golf GT Tdi i had on 85k , Mrs W was using it for town car short journeys odd mway drive occasionally .
Limp mode would trigger when asking for power under load so 3rd gear doing 40ish then wanting to go 4th up to 60ish .
My specialist VAG guy suggested it was a sensor linked to EGR / turbo / injectors ( i'm gong back over 10 yrs so not totally 100% )
anyways he said he had seen same symptoms many times over & yes he could start replacing parts until it was sorted but suggested i use Forte treatment for at least 3 tank fulls before getting into any big spend .
Sure nough this "cured " the problem in that try as i could after around 1000m running the additive i couldn't get fault mode to trigger .
From owning that car i have used additive in any TD vehicles ive owned . Used Millers Ecomax once a month , costs £15 for enough to last 12 months , its easier to pevent these issues happening than to cure once happened .

There are many reviews online of both , these are just random

Had been running for about 15 mins- but see what you mean about it being high

If it was parked up I could see that but the reading was while you were doing 89kmh apparently.
I was surprised to see air entering the engine at that temperature, but no idea where it is reading it from.
