Using Autosol on headlights-

andysat

Hi all,i have read the threads on this, and interested in doing this to mine, can i ask-does the cloudiness come back?-do you have to apply anything before or after autosol?-has anyone tried autosol and it not work?-thanks

I have heard it works with but requires much patience.

The toothpaste method works well on lightly clouded lights (just make sure your neighbours are not watching).

I've used autoglym polish on mine and it works with a bit of elbow grease. It takes the protective UV filter off though so they cloud up again.

Cheers mate,good to know.

No probs Andy :)

Thing is, if they are clouding up anyway the UV film is already worn away so you may as well give them a polish.

I do mine every 6 months or so now.

When I ordered that car I scheduled the installation of a Clear Bra. This included protection for the headlights. That was 2003, this is now. No cloudy headlight problems and no paint chips. 500 USD, nine years of protection, so what is the question?
