USB track/song display

I am thinking of getting a new (2012) bmw z4. The car I have seen at a dealers on the internet has the standard stereo i.e. no NAV.
I am aware if I plug a usb into the usb port in the arm rest I can play any music stored on the usb stick.
My question is how is this displayed on the stereo head unit. Will I be able to scroll through all the albums and tracks etc stored on the usb stick by their names or will I just seen generic titles such at track1 track2 etc etc

The idrive scans the mp3 tags on the media and displays track names etc, you can search by artist genre etc.

I have a 120gb iPod in my USB. All the best stuff is loaded into the idrive, the iPod has everything else. This is so I can search my favourite music via voice control.

on my standard system. it displays them in alphabetical order..... you can also select them by folders. you can scroll up and down the folders and then click once to go into a folder and scroll up and down tracks. it will display the track titles exactly how you have them named in your folders

How much music does it hold and how do you add and remove music from the idrive?

12gb for music storage, enough for you to forget what's on there! Just pop in a USB stick (glove box) and choose import music from the idrive.
