usb, ipod connection

Hi,
I didn't get a usb connection with my z4 so I am currently playing mp3 cd's using the head unit which is ok but was wondering if there are any options of adding a usb socket (within the arm rest) or iPod connection in some way, are there any options available?

You can retrofit an iPod kit, though its expensive of course. Does the car not even have an AUX in under the armrest (I'm assuming you have an e89, given your post is in the e89 section).
 
I have the 'AUX in' (and an e89) which is ok but of course I can't control using the head unit. Its not really a huge problem as I can play mp3 cd's but if there was an easy option it would be a handy addition.
 
I've just bought a BMW iPod/iPhone Y adapter which connects to the USB and 3.5mm aux in to your iPod which are under the armrest. Bought off Amazon for £11.99. All titles can then be seen on radio screen with track selection and volume controlled from steering wheel :thumbsup:
