I have fitted two more twin usb charging points, probably never need all of them at once but they did not cost much and was easy enough to do
There is a master switch which turns on/off the two usb sockets in the photo and the usb socket in the ash tray this one has the voltage display built into it as well the switch also turns on/off the supply to the other two switches one of the switches is for a led light strip in the passenger foot well so can be turned on/off with the doors shut when the wife carn't see her item she like to keep at her feet, the other is a spare
It looks blue in the photo but it is actually white light
While I was looking for an earth point I found this screw seen in the photo below it is the 10mm hex head screw and BMW have used it to earth something as it had a spade crimp connection already under the head, I have read on here people struggling to find a good earth near the fuse box before so thought I would pass this on.
