US: Bluetooth voice recognition question

I loaded up my voice files and made a call this morning using the voice recognition method. Now I'm thinking did this go through my phone service or was this a BMW Assist call? :scratchhead:

It should have gone through your phone service. Just check your phone's latest dialed calls. I don't think BMW Assist can make a call for you, can they?

Geez, I hope not. My phone is in my car and won't get to it for a few more hours. I'll check last call at that time.

It went through your phone (as long as it was within pairing range).
