Urgent help needed resetting Tyre pressure warning light

I had the tyre pressure warning light on earlier, checked the pressures and the offside front was down a bit, inflated to 2.3 bar and pressed the reset button. Amber came on and I drove off, immediately the red warning returned. Tried a couple of times to sort it with no joy and found if I held the reset button down for a little while the amber light which had come on when first pressing turned red and there was a warning bong.

Dug out my diagnostic software to clear the error and DIS/GT1 failed with an error message 'Communications between operating unit and diagnostic head impaired error number 200.159' can any help with this please. The system is the one supplied by BM Techincs now defunct and I have a memory of messing with the comport settings. Can any tell me what they should be from their system please.

So stuck at the moment with a red warning but the tyre pressures are all fine

Hold the run flat tyre button, ignition on, keep holding button for 10 secs, start the car. Light will go amber then disappear after 5 seconds

From memory you are also meant to go for a drive. I presume so the system can calibrate itself.

If its not resetting from the prompts above could be a wheel speed sensor fault.
The system works by comparing wheel speeds based on tyre circumference (the wheel circumference changing as the tyre deflates)

Delighted to say, thanks to Adamski, all now sorted

My thanks to all those to tried to help
