URGENT HELP!!! CAR WONT START CANT TURN KEY!! - **SOLVED**

yeah it was a good price reduced from £65, eurocarparts ebay store! some new ones were over £150!!!

yeah sorry I realise now i could turn the key, but it was kicking back instead of holding because it wasn't cranking, it just felt strange because of no crank, the RAC guy has made my day... i know the AA man is a very nice man but the RAC guy is a very very very nice man! :D

Aaah but the very very nice AA man would have popped down to Eurocarparts got the starter motor and fitted it and only charged for the starter motor. :thumbsup:
 
On a separate note, NEVER use WD40 in any lock mechanism you do not intend to strip and clean after. For a start it attracts diet which can jam the wafers or tumblers, secondly after awhile WD40 goes gelatinous and sticky.
