i have just been told by my local bmw mechanics that my nav system cannot have dynamic (3D) mode enabled.
nor can i play mp3, Aux, IPod or USB - instead i just have a cd changer.
I have the september 03 build plate Z4 3.0 and i have Sat Nav, Tv, and Top Hifi(DSP).
i have updated the software to the latest version i could find V32 (4-1/100), but still cannot access the advanced menu.
My question is can i upgrade to the newer 05+ black head unit? and will the amp/tv/sat nav all work if i just replace it? or do i have to take it to the dealer to get all these bits coded to the new head unit? also does anyone have such a head unit they want to get rid of? professional CID i think...
