Upgraded Oils and Where to Get Them?

I want to put my zed for its inspection 2 in a week but want to use redline diff oil and upgraded engine oil if anyone thinks it's needed.

I am putting it to a dealer. Wondered also what their response to using non standard oils would be? Anyone else had their dealer do this?

All things being okay with the dealer doing this where is the best place online as I live in the wilds miles from anywhere?

If someone knows the best specs and quantities then this would help me greatly. I worry about the new castrol BMW oil doing damage which has been reported on here.

Any help appreciated.

Similar route for me this week , Ins2 was 28k ago , last ins1 done 5k ago before i purchased the car so purely precautionary my car is going in on Wednesday for what i consider upgraded oils ( some may not )
Engine oil 6 litres Millers CFS 10w 60
Gearbox oil 2 litres Millers TRX Synth 75w80
Differential oil 2 litre Millers CRX 75W 140 LT
along with coolant change & brake fluid change which will both be standard BMW spec grade

Are you getting this done at a dealer? If so were they happy to use your oils?

I dont have any independants which have been recommended by anyone so may as well keep the BMW service history going is my thinking.

Where did you buy your oils?

Thanks for the tip Craig and also the quantities Mr Wilks.

Fortunately my indy is a pal who's ex BMW master tech now working for himself so he's OK with me getting the oils .
The Millers website will find your local supplier if those were the oils you wanted or as suggested above Opie can supply them ( or source them through Ebay suppliers )
the gearbox & diffs only need 1.2litres approx which is annoying but that's the way it goes .
For those fluids above i paid £118

If you choose Opie oils run a quick google search. I purchased £70 worth of oils last week and got a 10% discount and still free delivery.
Lots of online vouchers.

Agreed - I've purchased a lot from these guys over the last 6 years and get regular emails with voucher codes.

OP - if you let me know what you're after, I'll have a search through my emails to see if there is a relevant code.
