I must say I lean on the side of the Zed being a repairable object... when I park up I try to avoid people carriers and poorly parked vehicles, but I certainly wouldn't go round and round the carpark trying to find the perfect spot, and when I do lock the car and leave I completely forget about it until I get back, sometimes to the extent I have forgotten where I parked, LOL!
 
Its a matter if principle for me.

Yes its only a car; its the fact that someone can be so stupid/inconsiderate/irresponsible/uncaring/thoughtless etc.. that pisses me off.

How about a couple of elastic bungee cords hooked around the uppermost spoke in each wheel, with some of that grey sponge foam pipe insulation tubing over them? The colour match is pretty good too! :lol:
 
For a quick fix, 6 inch wide but long piece of cardboard (pref. corrugated), put along side of car, tape back into wheel arches/alloys.
Would be a good short term fix if really stuck...

Although I'm cautious about where I park - not abandoned or in an inconsiderate location, I don't worry too much. As soon as you lock it and leave, you're at the mercy of the fates regarding who parks next to you or who walks past.

+1 from me I'm afraid. Its my pride and joy and I'd be very annoyed if something did happen to my car (I leave it in a train station car park every day so chances are something will happen eventually), however, life goes on and there is no point in worrying about something that hasn't happened....yet. Just park sensibly. At the end of the day (argh!!!! Cliche time....) it's sods law - the harder you try to avoid it, the more annoying it'll be when it does happen.

Thankfully no damage! Must have been a contortionist to get out of his/her Range Rover.

When I was in the UK and had to leave a previous precious car at an airport I always used a valet service. They would meet me at the drop off point and take the car to a safe secure location. They have your flight details and are there to meet you immediatly at the pick-up point on your return. As I recall it was'nt that much dearer than the long stay car park and for me the ease convenience and peace of mind was well worth the cost.
No long walks, no buses/trains and no anxiety. As I also got a small discount as a PCGB member. Must be worth an ask.............

You do realise what happens when you use the valet parking service???
They park in random free locations
They go for a spin
And generally do the opposite of looking after your car
I suggest you look up watchdog!!
