Updated- First trackday tomorrow any tips?

Don't forget the spare fuel, some clean underwear and a camera. Have a great time

Got 40 litres of v power and half a tank already in the car, have rigged up a go pro so should hopefully get some good footage.

I didn't think about the extra underwear so that could be a good idea haha

Take lots of warm clothes for when you're not driving and empty all of the junk out of your car that might fly around and hit you. Sunglasses may be of use if the sky is clear, especially in the late afternoon. Don't forget to fit your towing eye and check it's still tight after a few laps, they can work loose when not under load. Be safe and have fun

Be sure to keep an eye in your mirrors for faster drivers coming up behind you and whatever you do, stay on the racing line in the winter!
I once span a Porsche 968 Clubsport at Silverstone as was around 2 degrees, I took the line too fast and ran wide then hit the slippery stuff - Luckily didn't hit anyone or anything but did scare the life out of me as no one told me about staying on the racing line as that's where the heat is!

But have fun and take it slow the first few times to get used to it

So have you come home with a big smile on your face or a bag of bits that used to be attached to your car  .?????

:D one of these haha

Was a great day out and I would recommend to anyone thinking of doing one.

Was pretty slippery though and a few brown trouser moments but was great fun and I was getting faster as the day went on. Brans is a great circuit too with some great corners.

Car did really well too, the updated brakes worked great and no reliability issues, she also didn't use a drop of oil

Definatly doing another one now I have the bug will wait for it to warm up a little though :)

Glad it went well mate, I'm itching to do one soon....

What brakes have you upgraded to.?

I have gone for fully rebuilt and refurbished 3.0si calipers ( e46 330ci ) braided hoses, solid brembo front disc's red stuff pads and upgraded super blue DOT 4 brake fluid :)
Also fitted new rear Padgid discs and pads.

Get one booked up mate it's addictive though :)

Really glad you had fun  I loved the one I done earlier in the year. My only problem this year is a massive lack of holidays I really wanted to do a few
