Further update: Brake pipe corrosion now fixed and brake fluid refreshed — car sailed through its MOT with no issues. One thing worth flagging: the minor exhaust leak noted as an advisory hasn't been touched. My mechanic's view is it's not worth disturbing since the exhaust is original and in decent shape for its age — doing anything to it risks needing a full replacement rather than a simple fix. Happy to get a quote for full replacement if a buyer would prefer that route, but wanted to be upfront rather than imply it's been sorted when it hasn't.
