thinking of ditching the rfts on the z4 has anyone experienced uniroyal rainsport 3s on their z4 had them on my mx5 and were super in the wet

I've got em on both sets 16 in an mi 18 in , never had any issues, on mi last hoon in December they were great , other peeps in the group were sliding around , felt very grippy,

I have them on as a 'winter' tyre as I wasn't expecting snow, but wanted something for the rain. I've found them excellent. Plenty of wet and dry grip. I trust them in the corners if I push it a bit. They replaced Michelin Pilot sports (which I'll put back on for the summer)

Looks like I will be ditching the rfts soon in favour of the uniroyals so a set of part worn bridgestones may soon be available!

Big fan of them , they perform way over what they should for the price you can get them for + its hard not to love the tread pattern

I've got them on my M. On 19's now, Seem to perform a lot better than the Michelin PS3 I had on the oem wheels.

Has anyone come from Goodyear or Flakens to RS3's? Be interested to see a comparison? But I'm defo. going for a set of these once my current wear out.

Also as some time has passed, how are the RS3's treating you? (anyone with a set on) :)

I had Falkens on my E85 and now have RS3s and I prefer the Uniroyals.

Yeah the tyres are standing up well. I've got no complaints

Can some one please comment on what the Kerb protection is like? I hate tyres which look flat so would usually drop a width size on the rears. In my experience:

Bridgestone RFT: Moderate Protection
Falken FL452: No Protection
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asym3: Lots of protection (almost too much - look like they're 10psi down all the time!)

The F1 Asymmetric 2 has a large amount of rim protection but the F1 Asymmetric 3 is far less pronounced. The tyre rounds off at the edge on the 3 compared to the 2 which looks squarer. I think the design of the 3 would lead to less tyre squirm.
