following on from my request in the for sale section:

i thought i'd ask the wider audience on here. basically one of my rear springs has some rust spots on it so i'm just going to replace it.
out of interest i rang my local unipart & they have them on the shelf at £34+vat each
& this is for an M coupe!
bmw is circa £175 each by the way.
has anyone tried these? are they recycled old bed springs or something. i'm not in the habit of fitting any old junk to my car but at those prices i can buy two & replace both on the rear axle.
as i said in the other thread i usually think if something's to good to be true it usually is, but this time my flabber is well & truly gasted!
