Hi, I'm not sure how this car's so good on fuel-this was after driving 25 miles home on my commute.
Cold start included & keeping up with flow of traffic on A /B roads.
I must have a talent for it :driving:

That is impressive, my car never ever ever goes above 30, in fact I'm impressed when it goes over 25 :(

You must drive like a saint :driving:

I'm surrounded by traffic driving home, so drive at the same speed as the others :driving:

just about to say the same

Snap!

Mind you I can never be bothered to reset mine - I'm just happy that the overall average is the right side of 30 mpg! That seems mighty impressive to me for a car as quick as a 3 litre Z4! :driving:

jimbo must have been in a hurry!

Did the consumption get worse after you unhooked your braces from the bumper of the car in front?

That's because it's down hill all the way Rob, you should have mentioned your commute TO work was 16mpg :poke:

Here's my best ever average - covered 570 motorway mines down to Dorset and back. I was trying on the way down but got bored and drove normally, which is quite fast  on the way back.

Wow!

What were you doing, slipstreaming HGVs?

On the now sold 3.0l thro the Netherlands at 70 on the motorway I saw 44mpg.
( I didn't buy the car to worry about mpg tho)

surely cannot be healthy for the engine... I thought red lining it was meant to clear its throat :D
