great find, Phil. That crew had icewater in their veins. Absolute professionals. Hope I have the same kinda folks (without any chance for them to show it) on my way to Colorado Springs in a couple weeks.

Combination of great skill and a bit of good fortune in getting that plane and passengers down safely.
 
Not normally, but there has been a couple more than a few lately, but the quality has been much better this week. Of course, bootay time is always the highest in quality and will never get any negative reviews...
 
Yep, that's what we do. With a flight and data recorder in good condition it takes about 48 hours to pick up the data and build a lesson plan that recreates in a flight simulator the crash incident. Did I mention that this pilot was trained on one of our A320 flight simulator? It feels good to see that our efforts have helped in some way save dozens of lives. Most of the credit still has to go to the crew for an exceptionally cool performance.

We don't provide however on the visual systems the flock of geese. We can put a flying firetruck however. :)
