So you live in Oslo, eh? We're pretty close then. Parking in the centre is a nightmare, I live outside the city, in Nordstrand. That's very different. But I do park near Grünerløkka every day for work, it's the same challenge everyday finding that free parking space.
There is some really nice driving country in the countryside not too far to the southeast, if you ever bring your car in just for a little while, be sure to hook up for a drive. Nothing like a little sunday drive in the zeddy to Sweden to get some cheap meat, alcohol and other stuff that's expensive in Norway.
Norway is pretty restricted on speeds, but there's more to enjoy about the car than just that. Seeing the majority of people have little respect for the limits, you can usually go above them without much risk of getting caught though.
Anyway good luck on selling your car, I was going to suggest you try selling it here, as you would probably get more for it here, but considering the steering wheel is probably on the right side .. well, that would be a problem ..
Driving in snow is really no big deal as long as you're not heavy on the accelerator. Last year I crossed the mountains going to Bergen in the zed during early spring, and even though a thick layer snow was everywhere, the roads where mostly bare except some stretches of snow and ice. Anyway I was surprised to find that the car behaved beautifully on the snowy parts, but then again I do have some good winter tires. It was really nice to have all that power, no queues could hold me up for long as I was past them in no time
Actually I would recommend doing a mountain crossing with such a car during spring when the roads are mostly bare, it's special to be up on the top with snow all around, people skiing and the sun shining. Hoping to do the same this year for easter! But I would not want to be caught in a snowstorm though, so a little care has to be taken.
