U.S. complaints on BMW & Audi engine oil consumption

Would be interesting to see an engine run on old fashioned non synthetics and see what the oil consumption is like.
I'm seeing now the use of synthetic oil on an aero engine and seeing hi oil temperatures and low pressures.
The oil has the consistency of water when hot.
