Can't comment on Hankooks. I had Falken ZE912s on my car when I bought it and I was distinctly unimpressed with grip levels. Have just changed over to 452s now and much happier.... they seem every bit as good as the P Zeros that I usually use on my other car

I had Hankook Ventus tyres on a previous car. Very good.

However, given that Falken 452s are a forum favourite, why not stick with them? Tyre fitters will usually make a recommendation depending on their margins ;)

I had Hankooks on my Clio 172, can't remember the exact tyre now as it was some years ago. I hated them, put me off ever owning another set - rock solid compound offering very little traction.

I have Falkens on my current Z4 (also had them on my Focus ST) - and I love them. Every bit as good as far more expensive tyres, in my opinion of course.

Can't comment on the Hankooks, but have had F452's on my car for 2 months now...

...it's like I sold my car and bought a new one, it's THAT different.

Have heard only good things re the Vreds, but I decided to go for the Falkens as more places seem to stock them - in case of a tyre issue, I could get a replacement fairly easily.

Good phrase I've heard with Falken F452's vs Vredestaein Ultrac Sessantas is:

Falkens are a top end mid-range tyre.
Vreds are a bottom end top-range tyre.

(PS - F912's are must softer for saloon type cars, 452's are firmer and more for sportier cars. Guy in shop said he tends to fit the 912s to focusses, astras etc)
