Tyre / spacer help For X5 wheels

Ok so I need some advice please

The car is 2006 coupe M-sport suspension

The wheels are BMW Style 177 19x9 ET48

Had these in my Transporter for a while and sitting gathering dust, I think they would look good on the coupe....

Any advice on tyres, would prefer to go 235/35 on the front but concerned about rubbing, they are the same width and offset as tiger claws etc which I see have done on a few cars...

Would 10mm spacer (making 19x9 et38) on the front with 235/35 worker smaller bigger spacer?

Guessing the rears will be straight forward!

Pics of the wheels for reference, mine done have tyres at present

Thanks in advance for any info etc

Hmm. Front compared to the OE 8.0 ET 47 will have an inner rim which is 13.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 11.7mm more than before. All this without spacers and I cannot imagine you can but em here. But my concern is that you are too far towards the vehicle.
Rears are no problem.
Besides, what tyres can you possibly fit on 9J front? 225 won't work. BMW puts 255 on a 8.5J :D
235 is abs. minimum and it still be streched.
Take alpina's wheels for reference.
They are 235/35 19x8.5 ET47 and 19x9.5 ET47.

So in theory it’s doable! Using the numbers for alpina

1/2” difference , 12.7mm divided by 2 (let’s say 7mm)
For extra width either side of of a 9” wheel compared to an 8.5

I guess a 7mm spacer would be a good place to start with, a 235 on a 9 would look nice and is in the recommended range for a 9” wheels

I know we all have different tastes but those mv2s look a lot nicer than the x5 wheels to me, for me I'm not sure they will suit the coupe
