Tyre Pressure (19" 326M)

Hi gents,

I hope you are all enjoying the long bank holiday weekend.

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question - but I have just been to the petrol garage to check my tyre pressures and I note that the recommended tyre pressures are on the inside of the door.

I have the 19 inch 326M wheels and the recommended pressures are 2.3bar front and 2.8bar rear. However, my nearest petrol garage simply has numbers on the pressure gauges - for example my fronts were 35 and my rears were 40.

What numbers should I be abiding by according to the petrol garage gauge?

Thanks!

Roughly, 2.3bar is 33psi and 2.8bar is 40psi.
Just use google.. Enter 2.3bar in psi and click search, it has a built in calculator.

I'm scratching the wheel upgrade.. I'm following Socket|R| and putting the money towards an ESS upgrade! That plus a dogs bollox SwissVax detail should see me happy enough :)

If I break a wheel, at least ill go out in flames haha..

Haha, I envy you of the Swiisvax detail. I'm still looking for someone I can find in London...that comes recommended....

I want to spend £500 getting it done, but also my bonnet has about 10 chips on it, so maybe I might just get that sprayed first, and perhaps an M sport front bumper....

Nice!

OP : petrol station pressure gauges aren't always accurate - if possible, invest in a quality one you can use at home.
