Unfortunately noticed today, rather than yesterday when they were fitted. It's on the polished lip, so want to make sure it doesn't go funny... Anything I can do to make sure it doesn't? Gutted as they're brand new 108s.
Unfortunately I signed yesterday to say I was happy with it, so nothing I can do. I have emailed them to ask them to resolve, but I very much doubt they will, and 108s will be hard to refurb I guess... (Expensive)
Next question... What lacquer should I get? I've contacted the tyre people to tell them, and see what they say. Hoping they'll be good to me and pay to get it refurbed, since I definitely didn't do it!
I have always used the lacquer thats supplied with touch up kits, work fine for small areas, CJ used standard clear laquer for his entire wheel refurb project so shouldnt be an issue.
If you dont already have a touch up kit (for stone chips) then this would be good opportunity to get one - and use the lacquer provided to mend the wheels.
IMO the halfords kit is much better then the BMW one which had provided with my car.
