Hey guys just though I'd put up a quick sound check of the modified OEM exhaust I've just finished up on my M3.
First thing I've really got hands on with on the car and it was slightly worrying when cutting open the muffler with an angle grinder
but we've made it
phew!
With a bunch of help from a local engineering company we replaced the internals of the centre section with stainless steel pipe, then did a really good with welding it back up before re-installation.
The result is now a fantastic howl that isn't too track sounding but at the same time retains the lovely V8 growl and stock sound levels at low RPM. I was also very keen to retain the OEM appearance of the M3 in all the mods I've made to her and I'm super impressed with this one
well worth the money versus a full Akra system
Next stop a few subtle exterior mods including LCI tail lights which should pull it all together nicely. Till next time
P.S. excuse the hoody I was going for a game of 3on3
