Turbo kit for a Z4

I found this that might fit the M54 Z4s (there should be little adjustments required)... I'm already gonna call NickG in regard to some tuning for my supercharged Z3 so I'm gonna ask him... I'll report back...

The price is comparable with the ESS twin-screw (slightly cheaper IIRC), but you get the tuning from a premier BMW FI tuner... I doubt it's CARB approved, but if you take a look at the E46 pix, you can barely see the kit (if it wasn't for the IC), so given the retards that normally do the test you might pass the visual inspecion...

Yea, but with the radiator cover on the Z4, the only way you would see the inter cooler is through the grills....and I doubt a non-BMW tech doing your inspection would know enough about the Z4 do have a clue...

Just spoke to Nick: the Z4 is in the plan, they just don't have a time-line yet... So I guess I'll just keep an eye on his website and see what happens.

He's not planing to apply for CARB exemption because the kit requires relocating the cats. However he said the ECU runs clear of any code, and the sniffer test will be fine... As Shipkiller said the front grill will hide the IC and I think it would pretty easy to mask up the intake so that it looks perfectly stock...

And you're down in FL, so you won't even have problem with the visual complance... Give a call to Nick: who knows he might be looking for a Z4 to adapt the kit to ... Eheheh
