Had to be done , could not live with the standard V6 TT ride height , apparently due to the low V6 engine sump :?
Anyhow here it is standard & looking like a moon buggy :P

& £300 later / 4 new Spax springs (25mm drop) , new suspension top mounts , hubcentric spacers front & rear plus £90 labour to do the job

Now contemplating a set of BBS split rims

I do really like that, surely 90 quid was "mates rates"? How does it rate to the zed then? - as i see it as a like for like rival almost! Brave man driving it off the road with that lower 3.2 sump :poke:

Some have dropped 40mm & that must be accident waiting to happen , ,Went out today for 25 miles & no problems at all until i ventured onto the moor road , ,bottomed out twice & that was under 40mph , , , Haven,t gone stiff on the springs as i didn,t want it to be a bonecruncher . Drives as it did on factory standard but looks wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better to me , will just have to play the speedbump game very carefully

The £90 was from my BMW indy guy , not to thrilled when i told him what i,d bought but then he is BM to the core
He was impressed with the DSG though & the car in general for the money paid :driving:

Having owned a TT before my Zed, I am a fan of them. Think they are nice looking motors. I loved mine. Mine was a 225bhp 1.8T engine though, it was remapped to about 260bhp though. Very different drive to the Zed, more of a motorway car than an out and out sports car.

Nice looking car though

Looks great Andy  It's kind of "pure" being closer to the original TT concept. I'm ambivalent about the newest ones tbh...

Spacers and lowering make it look proper - as you said it was a bit of a moon-buggy :D

Looks really good Andy

Thanks Nick , i am enjoying the Audi experience & looking forward to getting it over the channel .
It can,t compare to the Zc in looks & rarity but in every other department i'm more than satisfied with what i've got

It very subtle but has a noticable squatted look... Most people wouldnt know... But certainly looks better

Any issues with speedbumps or drives now?
