strangely i have done this before, but low down for me was in the front grille of the Z4 do about 450mm off of the ground. BUT because it was a disembodied view it gave a sensation of speed but without some of the car in the shot which sort of frames the shot it was odd.
I will try it, but I will need to get a lens protector first as the camera being hit by a stone is a real possibility!! a new camera is £160+ so until i get the lens protector I wont be trying that.
I'm out to Spa next week and the biggest test will be in the radical. i have a helmet mount which is the one i am really desperate to try out, again making sure that some of teh helmet is in the frame to give that "point of view" feeling.
I will post as soon as i can the results if this.
