The Rest'n Be Thankful looks spectacular....almost like the Alps ! Stopped there for an ice-cream once or twice over the years. Would love to have seen it back in the day with Jim Clark and Jackie Stewart amongst others blasting up the hill-climb

Yes,it was a cracking day....not as warm as it had been in previous two or three weeks,as it was regularly at 27/30c, but it did get to 24.5;c for a while.
The rest and he thankful was looking good
Inverary was particularly warm.

Cheers for yesterday Craig, was a belter. Can't believe the difference a day mate to the weather!
Good to catch up with you and John again.
Was good to see you both.
Hopefully catch up again soon/before the year is out.
It was indeed a belter of a day mate

Good to see the full range of ROADSTERS represented, unsullied by those welded roof jobbies. :poke: :D

EDIT: My mistake, only saw the one photo to begin with and the aftermarket grille threw me.

ANOTHER EDIT: While I was typing that red one appeared :dizzy:
Haha, yes.
We also passed a couple of nice E85 Z4Ms heading the opposite way, towards Oban/Fort William etc,a guy I know off the BMW CC,,Along with two nice E46 M3s. (Too busy enjoying the driving to get a picture though)Inc a Very nice Red E46 M3.
Got a wave from them, which was nice.

Roads were very light on traffic, other than nearer to Oban or Target and Luss we got,as expected/is the norm. :driving:

Yeah, unfortunately the Old Military road was shut these days. Myself and Wynn were wanting to drive it.
Yes,it looked very picturesque.
Hope the weather is the same in a couple of weeks for the National meet, and at the Start of August for our meet.
