Did this run today but want to return in Autumn to get the best of the colours in the landscape -

Thinking early morning start around Stirling, heading north through Callander and along banks of Loch Lubnaig, past Lochearn then head east to Killin for a stop off next to the Falls of Dornoch and a bit of Brunch before continuing west along the banks of Loch Tay to Aberfeldy then back South via Crieff.
Some fantastic roads and scenery! The round trip will only take about 4hrs.

Took this photo on the banks of Loch Tay early this Evening, just imagine this view with all the Autumn colours!

Nice touch , was there late May this year & fancy returning either Spring or Autumn next year .
We stayed 2 nights a little drive down from Aberfeldy at The Inn on The Tay

I think I took a photo of exact same view, from mouth of the Loch?

Yep that's right , wasn't wet the whole time , we did see a little sunshine & if you want a good place for lunch right on the river Tay the place we stayed was perfect

It's a place I've been many day trips too but now realise a slight bit further north and it's so much more!
Nice sweet shop in Crieff, best Rhubard and Custard you'll ever have!
