Trim panel centre console - auto vs manual

Does anybody know if the trim panel for the centre console is the same for manual’s and auto’s? The bit that’s aluminium, piano black etc.

I’ve tried looking on real.oem with my vin, but can’t then cross reference back to a manual (Mine’s an auto)

Auto is an option that appears on a parts page where there's a variation in the same vein as the trim colour/material selection. If it's not there, it'll be the same part. If you have a shufti at the final drive or pedals pages you ought to see what I mean.

Looks the same on the one of each i have here.
The gear lever gaiter and trim are different though

The centre console trim piece is identical man/auto.

Thanks all, so as long as the specific part I’m looking at only has one hole for the sport button to match mine I should be good to go then

Indeed, but nothing to stop you retrofitting airbag disable (/USB port/start-stop button/eject button etc) if you have an extra hole, or drilling a hole for Sport button if you don’t have any.

Both holes are marked underneath with half thickness metal. Drill a small hole in the middle then gradually open it out while checking the fit of the switch.

Added sport button to my 2.2 04 before I wrote it off.
