O olsonn Active member Dec 16, 2013 #1 The trim on my Z4 dash is cracked and I went to a breakers yard today, but the one they had was metal, I think aluminium. I haven't taken mine off yet but I am sure it is plastic. Did BMW do plastic and metal trims
