Traveling

Hi Tom
loving your photos especially the ones in Nevada. I love reading the Tony Hillerman crime novels set in the Four Corners of the USA & your photos really bring the stories to life. It is one of the places on my list to visit sometime but even more so now.
Enjoy the rest of your trip

No I missed the eclipse!

Thanks for the comments, going to have a nice chilled few last days it's a 600 mile drive from Vegas to San fran so a bit of driving then back to the UK

So thats it I fly home today back to Heathrow.

Ended the trip watching the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge.

Land in London at 1035am to be immediately greeted by the lads for a stag do and going to see the England match at Wembley on Friday night! Sure there will be some crazy antics for the weekend. Then home on Tuesday! Back to reality.

Thanks everyone for following along I will make a thread when I have edited the 25 or so thousand images... :?

All the support has been much appreciated, it sounds like one great experience, but there have been some real low points, high points, anxious moments and traveling is certainly very stressful making sure you find somewhere to put your head for the night and getting to where you need to go. So the comments have been really great and spurred me on.

Thanks again

Tom

PS - if anyone has the chance to trade in daily life, I highly recommend it. Traveling really opens up your eyes, broadens your horizons and makes you realise the things that you get bogged down in daily life really don't matter in the grand scheme of things. Life has a lot more to offer than 9-5 work sleep eat repeat.

Breath-taking photos Tom - really impressed with the scenic shots - just brilliant. What terrific memories of your trip.

:driving:

5 months was a little too long tbh! I was ready for a break after 2. I think 2 months is a good amount of time unless you are living or have a job. Living out of a bag and moving from place to place for that amount of time was a little bit too much.

Looking forward to getting home. I have a job when I get back but looking at doing 2 months in Africa in either August-Sept or Sept-Oct.

Ye I'm Pleased with how the pics have come out looking forward to having a look at them on a big screen!

My, that seems to have flown by!
Good to see you back safe & sound
Some fantastic pics - how do you do that :x

Africa will be good, I did 2 weeks in Tanzania some years back, where I went they had not seen a white face before, it was fantastic
