Transport Mode *@£&ing Transport Mode

My car is back in transport mode after fitting a Dice Media bridge. I must have sat in the car too long figuring it all out, with the engine off. Tried to start the car and it had a hissy fit.

Is there anyone local to Essex / London who is able to disable transport made for me? I took it to an Indy last year, but thought I'd ask here first :)

Cheers for the kind offer.

I had it sorted on Monday at a local garage, only charged £25 so not too bad. :)

Hi Mac,
Is this enabled/disabled in INPA or such? I'd like to now how to do it as I'm transporting the car via raileurope which involves leaving it with some french no doubt Loeb types for a day or two either end. Does the mode limit the engine revs?
I have the software and obd cable etc.
Cheers

 TomK - First person who's ever asked how to ENABLE transport mode on their Z4
Perfectly understandable though.

I'm more embarrassed having been quoted spelling 'know' as 'now'! Anyway, moving on, slowly.. Is what I'd like to know about :)

I use SSS v32 software, once you load it you choose "vehicle" then "service functions" and that's where transport mode is.

Thanks, found it. Bottled out though as it says should only be set on vehicles showing less than 50km. Any idea if this is important or not?
Reading up about transport mode it seems to be more concerned with preserving battery life by disabling radio/air-con etc which is not really important to me, I'm more concerned about engine revs. Can anyone confirm whether transport mode limits engine revs?
Cheers

Shame you can't force it into 'limp' mode - that would do it.

That's not such a bad idea actually, thanks. I could either pull a wheel speed sensor or the fuse for them perhaps? Would that enable limp mode... I'll look into it.
In theory then just put fuse back & clear codes when picking it up.

Or

Just stick a very obvious video camera in it and suggestive note
