Transport Mode Help - SOLVED

Hello,

Hope someone is able to help me with this...

Unfortunately a little while ago my battery went dead which I had replaced, what I didn't know is that the car can put its self into "Transport Mode" / "Energy Saving" / "Limp Mode" what ever you would like to call it... Is there anyone in Essex, preferably nearer the Maldon area that could turn this off for me please?

What symptoms are you seeing exactly? Transport mode is supposed to be deleted by the dealer as part of the pre-delivery inspection but sometimes they don't do it. If you have a laptop it's pretty simple if you purchase the OBD dongle and software suite from bmcables.com. You can do it pretty easy with ISTA-D (vehicle management/service functions/maintenance and pre-delivery check/transport mode, pre-delivery check/delete transport mode.) or with DIS. Alternatively if you want plug and play you can buy a Creator C310+ or Foxwell NT520 scanner from Amazon and it's a piece of cake.

Thanks mate, was as easy as you said, I ended up getting hold of the K-Line and DIS software... after a few little tweaks to some random settings I had it running and deleted transport mode with no issue....
