Hi, I only bought my Z4 2.5i SMG last Thursday and the next day the transmission warning light light came on.... took it straight to the nearest BMW garage (Coopers Croydon) and they after nearly a a few days say they 'think' it needs a new clutch but are not sure this is the exact reason the light is on, they suggested this as the issue since during the test drive it seemed a bit juddery moving off in 1st. I then drove it home and noticed it no longer goes into 4th gear in either mode? 
Any ideas, has anyone else had some thing like this before?
