Wasn't sure where to post this but it is related to car sales so thought here might do. Im picking up my z4 this week and selling my older car. It's been on autotrader for about a week at £3650. I've had a few scam buyers but they are usually pretty obvious. Today I got a text offering me £3500 cash from a company called tradein-autotrader.com along with a purchase ID to enter on their website. I almost deleted the text but my curiosity got the better of me and I checked out the site:

I read the bits and bobs and it does seem too good to be true but seems quite legitimate. I attempted to accept the offer to see what would happen. I had to choose my date, address, name etc and it asks me to pay £80 refundable deposit via a pay point to confirm the appointment as they have to send a buyer/collector. Anyway I bailed out at that point but have any of you ever heard of/dealt with this company?
