Track Day @ Hullavington

Just thought i would post some videos of the Hullavington track day Yorkie & myself went to, if any of you are thinking about doing your first track day i highly recommend using Motorsport Events! I've only done 2 track days myself so still a total noobie but omg it is so much fun :evil:

It dose look like a fun day. I have my next day sorted in July. If you guys are doing a day August onwards count me in. The track is not a million miles away from me.

Hi Stuart, yes it is still MOD property, Motorsport events host a trackday once a month there @ £109, you can get up to six hours driving on a coned track or a fun area for drifting, slalom and a coned roundabout for doughnuts.

Looks good fun. I just signed up to a day at Abingdon in a couple of weeks, can't wait. Did you lose much tread on the tyres as heard that airfield surfaces can be quite abrasive?

I can only comment on Hullavington as i haven't been to Abingdon yet hoping to very soon though, and tyre wear was absolutely minimal, my only advice is to keep and eye on brakewear

You were never going to keep up with the red Westfield, especially in the rain
I've been to Hullavington loads and it's always really good fun. The rain adds to the fun if you're not chasing lap times as you can hang the back end out at more sensible speeds.
They significantly shortened the start/finish straights a few years ago. Before they did I used to hit about 135-140mph heading down towards the hairpin by the pits. Thinking about it, that's probably why they shortened it :evil:
I love the video of the synchronised drifting although two guys drifting essentially the same car nose to tail as they passed the starting marshall were never going to get away with it

I didn't take out insurance and it feels low risk at the motorsport-events venue, if you dont want to drive then bring a crash helmet and £15 for a passenger pass and you can ride with me
