TPMS - No pressure readings!

Finaly got BMW TPMS sensors fitted to my winter wheels. While they were being fitted, I was given a lift to work in a 2014 3 Series during which the driver showed my the tyre monitoring page on the iDrive. Each wheel is shown green, as it is in the Z4, but it also shows the pressure of each wheel - most dissapointed that this is not the same in the Z4!

I love first world problems

I guess the z4 system was designed to work with run flats - in which case any pressure = Rock Hard :D

Just to make you feel worse, you can also get it to show the temperatures of the air in each tyre....

Not absolutely sure, but I think the new 3 series has runflats as standard

Not strictly true as bmw do offer a non run flat option called 'streamline 306' wheels which I believe are not run flats for the 3 series and this is supplied as standard on at least the efficient dynamics versions so unless you know which ones they are they could well be non run flats. I'm sure the M4 etc is now being supplied without run flats too.

But it's never the pressure that is rock hard, it's the tyre walls they could be filled with 20 psi and still feel like you've gone over a boulder in them.
