Towing eye covers

Hi all,

Whilst washing my Zed yesterday my heart sank with what I thought was a dink on the rear plastic towing eye cover. Anyways checked the front one and its the same, checked the sales brochure and the images of the Zeds in there show the same. Has anyone noticed this? just wandered why there is this dink on the covers as its kinda spoils the smooth looks :|

The only reason I ask is my previous 1er they were all smooth and on the Z3 there is a small crevice to prize the cover off.

But I know why its there now :D
