I received my Langka blob eliminator a couple of weeks ago, ordered from here : http://www.langka.com/the-blob-eliminator-p-31.html
Came to about $45 delivered, two 2 ounce bottles, arrived in just a week - fast
So I finally got a chance to use it today after a good wash, and before a polish and wax. I took some before and after photos, but TBH I am not sure they will come out too well as, a) I couldn't get a good angle on the bonnet, and b) I am not a great photographer... I also haven't examined them yet as I need to prise the laptop away from Wee Bing when he finally logs off Facebook and buggers off to bed  I shall try to sort later. However Andysat expressed an interest in how well it works, and I have to say that cj was right - the stuff is great.
You are supposed to use this 2 to 24 hours after applying the touch-up paint, and use it progressively - so touch up, use the product, then fill with paint again if you haven't totally sorted it. The paint is not fully cured and will just strip away - the flat card that you get keeps the finish level. However I did have some challenges :
1. My blobs were quite big as I had not used the right tool to apply the touch up
2. They had been on the car for about 3 weeks I guess, so had completely cured - I had also applied clear coat on top, not mixed in with the paint
3. I had a go at older blobs not created by me
These caused some problems as because of the size / age of the blobs I needed to to use the product for much longer than the 30 secs it says is necessary to rub the paint down. What then happened was the product dried a little, and where extra effort was required I caused some light scratching to the surrounding paintwork because of the sandy residue. Nothing that some Megs Ultimate Compound couldn't sort though
So, the cloth and paintwork need kept damp with the product to avoid scratching, a lesson learned.
Also, it will of course take off all polish and wax etc., therefore needs done on clean paintwork after washing, when you're planning to then fully pamper the car. The first couple I tried last weekend left dull marks even after a quick polish, and I had no time to do the car properly till today.
After all that though, the stuff has worked brilliantly. It has pretty much totally smoothed the blobs, and when I get a chance next weekend I wil go back and fill the remaining dips and use it again. If you look hard you will always see where the touch ups are, but with a polish and a couple of coats of wax you'd have to be looking really, really hard. Personally I am really happy with the results and would highly recommend it
Thanks cj 8)
