Touch up paint

Hi all.

Any suggestions on touch up paint. Internets are showing me random companies and their products? Are these okay? Would prefer genuine BMW paint. How do I go about tracking that down?

Cheers

You can get your paint code using one of those BMW vin decoders, like mdecoder.com or similar. And with tha code go to the dealer or another source that sell original parts. Or as an alternative, you can get the part number directly from realoem.com and use that to order the touch up paint.

The OE colour should be shown on a plate on the driver's side inner wing, but I can't remember if it includes the paint code. For example mine says "Silbergrau" because it is Silver Grey.

I bought a small aerosol of genuine BMW paint on Ebay because I only needed it for a headlamp washer cover. Just do a search.
