Well I can think of at least two forum members who should be supporting Marine. They were my local team for many years growing up. I used to fly my rubber band powered glider on the pitch. Oh sweet memories of youth.

Good luck lads and enjoy the experience.

Me to - the issue is they will get tired now and struggle, shame as they played ok in reality, but a few bad moments and it lookalike they were seriously out classed.

My sis was complainin yesterday about the floodlights they put up for it Buzylar. She lives 2 streets away from Marine FC and said it was like daylight at 6pm when they were testing them.
She should count herself lucky there isn't hordes of Spurs supporters milling around! :o

5-0. Slaughtered

Former season ticket at Spurs here. Well done Marine you gave it a go and made it entertaining along with your fans in their back gardens.

Love the pictures Chris. My folks lived in Woodville Ave just over the road. I'd left home by then. My first girl friend lived in Warwick Ave. Plus Mrs G and I were married in the UR church just up the road. Way too many local connections to bore you with. :D

Enjoyed the match. Great that they played all the subs. Some memories made on that pitch tonight for those lads when they are a bit older. :D
