Anyone successfully using the Carly wifi adapter with Torque Pro on Android?
If so, what IP and port settings are you using?

If not, what BT adapter are you using? Some of the suggested BT dongles are a bit large and intrusive to use if left in-place in the OBD port for realtime logging etc. Anyone got a small, reliable one they can suggest?

Anyone using a USB cable?
I managed to get this one working very briefly as it was reporting the coolant temp as 20deg C on first use (engine not running).
I changed a couple of settings and have tried all settings since but it's stopped reporting back to the app, grr.

ELM 327 dongle. I have a couple and work great with torque pro.

I can second that. It's what I use and works fine in both my Z4 and Passat

I'm using my Carly adapter with no issue. Didn't have to change any settings either. But I'll look to see what they are in a little bit and post back. Is it not working at all or just partially?

Thx, but ended up getting a bt dongle from fleabay. Works like a charm.
Can’t get oil temp tho, can you?

I haven't checked yet. I'm mostly watching RPM and AFR at the moment. Oil temp may require using a BMW specific PID. That's one of the the next things I'll be looking into as oil temps with the supercharger I just installed are a big concern. I'll probably swap in a N54 oil cooler so I can breath easier.
