Took out a friends 1991 Audi 80 TD with only 55k on the clock. It's a spare car just used for when the other cars are being serviced.
Sitting inside was like stepping into a time capsule, manual windows, old school dash - but everything worked, it had power when you needed it, comfy seats, good ride. Original paintwork, no rust, no cracks on the dash.
Did make me wonder exactly how far cars have moved on since then - apart from the design and a few gadgets, you couldn't tell it was 25 years old
I wonder if cars produced today will be in such good conditions in 25 years...?
