Toluene

Anybody else who can't get 98 or 100 ron tried this as andboctane booster?

I tried a 80% 95 ron and 20% toluene and reset the octane and knock apaptions with inpa. This mix comes out to input 99 ron.

After a few drives she loves it. I am at 5500,feet so need all the help i can get.

Toluene is methyl benzene, I worked with it for over 40 years, it is nasty stuff.

It's also a normal part of petrol. In a lot of countries aromatics can make up to 35% of pump fuel. We only get 95 ron here. Toluene is about 120 ron.

I am careful with it.

Whereabouts are you OP?

In the UK Shell, Esso and Tesco sell 99 RON.

South Africa. We only have 93 and 95 Ron. Being at altitude I try to do whatever I can to get back to stock power. Eventuri picks up a little. Tune by Josh from Severn including a version with some additional timing thrown in to try combat the thin air.

I think tye additional timing is why she likes the toluene brew.

I suppose the altitude was a clue that you weren't in the UK!
