Took a bit of phoning around whilst scouring Ebay, but just picked up a cruise control stalk and full column shroud for a bargain £50.. Plus the top shroud has the factory microphone that I may try and get to work with the Parrot kit when I fit it.

Cruise fitted and working in 10 mind flat, and as a bonus I drove the 70 mile round trip in the Zed with the roof down.

I'm a happy chappie today!

very well done! I spent ages searching for a pre owned one and eventually gave up and bought from sopers, was easy enough to cut out the section in the surround though as BMW mark it out for you
 
Also managed to get the Parrot kit installed, and as my car has the amp in the boot, the Parrot feeds the line in via the original wiring, so Bluetooth sound quality is excellent and uses the car's amp and vol control. Only niggle is that the Parrot ill not mute the CD changer, as that's connected directly to the amp, but with Deezer, who needs it!

How much was yours from Sopers as I was told it was under 60 quid but They want over £100 just for the stalk?

From Sopers I paid £79 all in delivered to me (that was with forum discount) but it was nearly a year ago, 30th June 2015, that I bought mine
 
I have the surround (only) from my mate who had installed cruise on his 04 E85. I believe it is the whole surround (underside of the steering column) so it would need cutting to take the stalk. If anyone's interested, it'll be cheap plus postage.
