To service or not to service.

Going on our eurotrip on 5th July. Looking at about 3k mileage in total. Service indicator is showing 2850 till inspection1. Bought car in December and it had oil changed before I picked it up, brake fluid was topped up also.

So question is do I leave it till I get back from trip and b prob 1k over indicator or get it done before. Only thing that is putting me off is I had 318ci before and within 1k of BOTH services I had an igniction coil pack up, don't wanna be in middle of Europe and that happens.

How many miles have you done since Dec when you had the oil changed? They should have reset the indicator then. normally its about 15- 20,000 miles between changes.
 
Personally I'd get it done before you go, piece of mind and it will be running perfectly for your trip.
 
let the on-board tell you,you can have it serviced over there why worry. it still cost's you no matter what country. :driving:
